Description:
Custom walnut grips fit all Colt 1911 full size – “Government”, “Commander”, etc. models and clones made to spec.

To make sure which grip size is right for YOUR gun check the distance between screws:
All full size including Commander are 3-1/16″ or 3.0625″
All compact including Defender are 2-11/16″ or 2.6875″

Will NOT fit “bobtail” (round butt) models.
If you have Taurus 1911 or other model with ambi safety please let me know at the time of purchase, I will make an extra cutout for ambi safety at no charge.

How the grips are made:
Machined from hard walnut;
Stained;
Applied gun stock filler;
2 coats of polyurethane;
Graphics is cut from thin (0.001″) metallized polyester film and applied to grips;
Several coats of polyurethane on top.
These grips are as durable as any other wood grips.

The grips are made to order – please allow up to 5 days production/handling time. I try to do my best to ship ASAP.
